First edition of 15 (+ 5 H.C.) numbered copies only. 7 original signed Dye Destruction prints (313 x 310 mm., each), all signed by Kishin SHINOYAMA from a series of photos taken in 1974 with actors featuring as politicians running for election. This work has been reproduced as one of the “sequences”, that “comments on different event that took place in 1974” (Gerry Badger) in the book Hareta Hi (“A Fine Day”) by Kishin SHINOYAMA and was published in 1975 (see also: Parr/Badger, The Photobook: A History, Vol. I, p. 303 and Auer, 802 photo books from the M. + M. Auer collection, n°: 586). These 7 Cibachrome prints have
been made by the French photo printer Roland DUFAU, a “Maître de la couleur”. Graphic Design by Olivier ANDREOTTI. This portfolio is the 20 th volume in a series by Toluca Editions.
