With a photocollage by VAN DER ELSKEN, a poem in Dutch by Gerrit Kouwenaar and an illustration by Lucie Kupershoek – Visser This is one of the New Year publications offered in that period by the printing house, De Jong & Co, from 1911 until 1994 based in Hilversum. This is one in the series of 32 Kwadraat-Bladen, experimental publications to promote the company. This is also one of the very first publications with work by Ed VAN DER ELSKEN, who also had an exhibition at this printing house in the fifties.
