Second French edition, after a first edition in 1969. 101 black & white photographic illustrations (including the photo on the cover of the slipcase), with photos taken in 1953 and later of the Cuban society. This is the transcript (translated into French) of the historical plea – “Las historia me absolverá“ (“History will acquit me”) - by Fidel Castro (1926-2016), then a young lawyer, defending himself during the trial on July 26, 1953, brought against him after a little group of armed people under his leadership launched a failed attack on the Moncada barracks in Santiago de Cuba, which remains in memories as the signal announcing the Cuban Revolution.
