This is one of the 50 numbered and signed copies of the special edition, complete with a loose numbered and signed print. 34 color photos (including the front cover) of beach huts. “This series of photographs was neither intended to focus on the geographic position of Gouville, nor to document the small beach huts of this unknown village in the Cotentin, a little known region of northern France. Gouville could actually be considered the photographer ‘s picturesque Utopia. To a certain extent an unreal locality, where each beach hut proprietor has produced his own uniqueness in this “uniform” neighborhood” (text printed in the book). Texts in this book are in German, French and English.
