First edition. “In June 1975 Hans Richter began the collection of his own graphic works annotating it with jotted comments and reminiscences intending to prepare a volume that would clearly recontruct the development of his work from 1902, the date of the first drawing here published, till the present. A short while later Hans Richter became gravely ill and on February first, 1976 he passed away, leaving nonetheless, well defined in its structure. This note has been written to thank Mrs. Frida Richter, Robert Sanesi, Gian Franco Berti and Magdalo Mussio, who through their work, have made possible this publication of Hans Richter’s final effort.
