First (French) edition. 188 black & white photos of New York, the city where William KLEIN was born and where he returned in the early fifties to make these photos, after having joined the US Army in Europe during the Second World War and settled in France after being discharged. His first and most famous “City-Book”, which influenced many photographers. Also designed by William KLEIN. No text. The captions in the original staple-bound text booklet are also by William KLEIN.
