First edition. Koji TAKI, Yutaka TAKANASHI, Takuma NAKAHIRA, Takahiko OKADA co-founded PROVOKE in 1968 and after volume 1 also Daido MORIYAMA joined them. In 1969 after publishing the third issue of PROVOKE the group dissolved itself. The work published in this publication can be seen as a final statement of this group with 5 numbered “predicts”, texts, and 5 numbered “provokes”, selections of images.
