A retrospective with a selection of the photographic work between 1927 and 1938 by Marianne BRESLAUER, also shortly an “assistant” of MAN RAY in Paris. She had to flee Germany, and in Switzerland, where she lived after 1939, she opened an art gallery, and “…habe ich keine Dunkelkammer mehr betreten” (“…I have never entered a darkroom again”).
This copy has been dedicated by BRESLAUER in December 1983. Also with a handwritten card from Marianne Breslauer, on which she wishes a happy 1984 (probably to the same person).
- Bielefeld/Düsseldorf, Edition Marzona, 1979.
- 4to (270 x 215 mm.)
- Stiff wrappers with a dust jacket with a little print (130 x 90 mm.) pasted on the front cover.
- This copy still with the original acetate protection. Fine copy.
- First edition.
