Each copy is accompanied by an original silk-screen print hand-annotated by Alison Knowles and signed by the authors. “This bean-book is based on illustrations from the “Sprach - Brockhaus – Deutsches Wörterbuch für jedermann” (1947) Some of the legends and labels of the original have been replaced by the authors (sometimes at random by Georg Brecht, with the names of beans from the Alison Knowles collection).
