A selection of 286 color photographs of trees in a forest near Cologne, taken in autumns and winters, showing many broken branches and fallen over tree trunks. RICHTER added a computer generated text (A.I. avant la lettre!), published in the German magazine Waldung, published in 2006, edited by the German artist himself.
